
Nancy Cash-Cobb grew up in Portland where she sang in the choruses and played in the orchestras at Longfellow, Lincoln and Deering. Nancy has been teaching music in Windham for 34 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the University of Southern Maine, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Southern Maine and is Orff Music Education Certified from Long Island University, Hamline University and the University of Illinois. Nancy has been an active member of the Maine Music Educators Association Executive Board for 35 years and in 1999 was honored as Maine Music Educator of the Year! She founded the Maine Chapter of The American Orff-Schulwerk Association in 1987. Nancy & her husband enjoy being actively involved in music for their church.
Nancy’s daughter Sara is a pediatric RN. They like to travel together, especially to Disney World! Jerry Cobb, Nancy’s husband, produces radio commercials for car companies all over North America. The whole family likes to travel, especially to visit relatives.
You will often find Mrs. Cash-Cobb swimming or kayaking out on the lake.
